Falls from height remain the single biggest killer in the UK workplace. This course is not just about compliance; it is about survival.

RSIS deliver a comprehensive awareness program designed to equip your workforce with the knowledge to assess risks and select the right equipment before they leave the ground.

The Hierarchy of Control.

We teach the legal hierarchy mandated by the Work at Height Regulations 2005:

Avoid: Do you have to work at height? Can the job be done from the ground?

Prevent: If you must work at height, use equipment that prevents falls (guardrails, MEWPs).

Mitigate: If a fall cannot be prevented, minimise the distance and consequence (nets, airbags, fall arrest harnesses).

Course Content.

Risk Assessment: Identifying fragile surfaces, weather hazards, and falling object risks.

Ladder Safety: Safe selection, inspection, and footing of ladders and stepladders.

Harness Awareness: Pre-use checks of lanyards, carabiners, and anchor points. Understanding "Fall Restraint" vs. "Fall Arrest."

Rescue Planning: Why relying on the emergency services is not a compliant rescue plan.

Target Audience.

Any employee who works above ground level, including maintenance teams, shelf stackers, and construction operatives.
