The Backbone Of Your Production Line.

An overhead crane is more than steel beams and a hoist; it is the critical logistical artery of your facility. At RS Industrial Services, we design, manufacture, and install bespoke Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) cranes that align perfectly with your building's structural limits and your production's duty cycles.

We are not tied to a single component manufacturer, allowing us to integrate the best hoists (from Street, Konecranes, Demag, or Donati) with RSIS-engineered steelwork.

Single Girder Cranes.

Capacity: Typically 1 to 12.5 Tonnes.

Span: Up to 30 meters.

Application: Ideal for light-to-medium duty cycles in workshops, assembly lines, and warehouses.

Design Advantage: The hoist hangs under the beam. We utilise low-headroom hoist units to maximise hook height in buildings with restricted vertical clearance. Lighter deadweight reduces stress on your building columns.

Double Girder Cranes.

Capacity: 5 to 100+ Tonnes.

Span: 30+ meters.

Application: Heavy fabrication, steel handling, foundries, and high-intensity production.

Design Advantage: The hoist mechanism (crab) rides on top of the two girders. This offers maximum hook height (lifting between the beams) and superior stability for heavy loads. Essential for attaching maintenance platforms or walkways.

Underslung Cranes.

For facilities without traditional runway columns, we engineer underslung cranes that run on the bottom flange of roof-mounted runways, maximising floor space and side approaches.

The Engineering Difference.

Box Girder vs. Rolled Beam: For longer spans (typically over 18m), we fabricate torsionally rigid Box Girders to prevent "whipping" and sway. For shorter spans, we use precision-rolled Universal Beams (I-Beams) for cost-efficiency.

Duty Ratings: We don't just sell "a crane." We calculate your required FEM/ISO duty rating (e.g., M5/2m) to ensure the gearbox and motor lifespan matches your shift patterns.

Control Options: From standard pendants to advanced Radio Remote Control systems that allow operators to stand in the safest zone, away from the load.
