IPAF Training Courses: The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access on a worldwide basis. The IPAF training programme for platform operators conforms to ISO 18878. Successful trainees are awarded the PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), which is a recognised proof of training for platform operators.

The IPAF Training Course instructs candidates how to safely operate a range of MEWPS (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms). It also covers skills such as the selection and pre-inspection of the equipment. The IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification is internationally recognised qualification for use of such machinery.
IPAF training courses are suitable for anyone in an organisation that operates scissor lifts, static or self powered telescopic and articulating booms, vertical platforms, vehicle or trailer mounted platforms and booms. This not only includes construction sites but all workplaces, such as schools, offices, theatres and factories both internally and externally.
Following the IPAF proven blend of theory and practical instruction, your employees can develop an awareness of the legal implications, common hazards and precautions, together with the correct driving, operation, pre-use inspection, elevating, lowering and emergency procedures for these commonly used MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).

The IPAF training Safety Harness Course instructs candidates how to use safety harnesses and lanyards when using a range of MEWPS (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms). It also covers skills such as the selection and pre-inspection of the equipment. The IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification is internationally recognised qualification for use of such machinery. This course is suitable for anyone in an organisation that use, supervise or manage the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS) and needs to be made aware of the correct selection, inspection and use of safety harnesses to prevent falls.
