Abrasive Wheels

Safety in the use of Abrasive Wheels is now covered legally by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. There is a requirement in the law that the mounting of Abrasive Wheels should be restricted to properly trained and designated people. This half day course is designed to give delegates the required training and covers Stihl Saws, Bench Grinders, Floor Cutters, Chop Saws and 4-9” blade cutters. This aim of this half day course is to train delegates in the safe working procedures of Abrasive Wheels and various disc cutters/blades/saws. The course includes practical “hands-on” exercises using your site specific equipment, and delegates will be tested by our tutor throughout. Suitable for operatives with little or no experience and those requiring a refresher.
