The turning of unwieldy and heavy workpieces is often a very dangerous matter and involves significant risk. With any improper turning manoeuvre, the risk of accidents is high. Unsafe load turning can result in the workpiece being damaged and may also result in personal injury.
The solution? Rotomax.
Rotomax enables the safe and smooth rotation of workpieces, allowing easy access for work and inspection to be carried out. The workpiece can be stopped in any position. The operator controls the turning operation itself from a safe distance with a remote control. Rotomax is suitable for various applications, such as for turning machine bodies, engines, welded structures, casting molds, etc.
Since 2004 Vetter and RS Industrial Services have been working together to succesfully deliver the ROTOMAX load turning system to businesses accross the UK.
