Whether our customer is looking have an existing crane maintained or modernised or a full crane and gantry system we can provide the necessary facilities and support to see the project through from the design, manufacture to installation and commissioning.

Whatever the equipment is, either standard or non-standard we can support each individual customers specialised requirements.

Maintenance and Repair
Customers are provided with a 24 hours a day breakdown service offering on-call
Engineers 7 days a week to cover any critical or urgent requirements. Providing maintenance/repair of equipment on or off site at a workshop location where repair and testing facilities are available to carry out electrical, mechanical or structural repairs/alterations as required.

Maintenance Contracts

Maintenance contracts can be designed to suit individual customer needs. They increase productivity, due to reduced downtime and save on unnecessary costly repair bills.

Our maintenance inspections can be tailored to suit individual customers equipment and production/maintenance shut down periods.

Maintenance inspections can be carried out in the UK or abroad with standard or full in-depth reports, tailored to our specific piece of equipment.

As part of our maintenance program we provide our customers with planned preventative maintenance schemes at regular intervals. Our Engineers will visit customer sites to carry out maintenance/statutory examinations of customer equipment giving a written report of its condition and future repair requirements. This reduces the possibility of costly breakdown of customer site equipment and keeps the equipment up to date with statutory regulations as required by Law (LOLER 98 / PUWER 98)


Refurbishment / Testing
Through the refurbishment or modernisation of customer equipment we can keep older more out of date equipment in as new or better working order. We can incorporate the latest
technology onto older equipment to increase its safe operation, efficiency and extend its working life, therefore reducing cost. This allows our customers to take advantage of the latest technology and best practices in modern manufacturing and production. RS Industrial Services has provided this service to various customers from steel handling to the nuclear industry.

Every new crane and piece of lifting equipment needs to be proof load tested and
certified following installation. Even cranes that have been moved or heavily modernised may require testing and certification to meet with statutory obligations. RS Industrial Services Ltd’s Engineers have the skills and experience to carry out these required operations with efficiency and confidence providing the customer with minimal disruption to their production.
