Electric Pallet Truck Operator

1/2 Day Refresher / 1 Day Novice (4 persons)

Aims:

To teach each candidate the legislation, skills and knowledge to competently operate a pallet truck.

To ensure the candidate is competent in the safe control and handling of the truck whilst undertaking a range of operations.

Make the candidate aware of the problems associated with instability and handling while undertaking a range of operations.

Objectives:

• Controls of the truck
• Safe working procedures
• Statutory regulations
• Start up checks
• Steering & handling
• Safe parking
• Problems of instability
