Aims:
To teach each candidate the skills and knowledge to competently operate the crane in a controlled manner.
The candidate will prove competence in safe working procedures and environmental awareness, whilst undertaking a range of operations.
Objectives:
Demonstrate competence in the operation of:
• Safe working procedures
• Statutory regulations
• Daily pre-start checks
• Recognised signalling procedures
• Isolation & danger board procedures
• Control of load swing
• Positioning of loads
• Types & use of lifting equipment
