Aims:
To teach each candidate the legislation skills and knowledge competently sling a variety of loads.
To teach the candidate to be competent in the safe control of lifts and signalling techniques.
Objectives:
Demonstrate competence in:
• Statutory regulations
• Estimation of weights
• Choice of equipment
• Choice of slinging method
• Use of packing
• Safe working load reductions
• Signalling
• Crane movement control
• Correct stacking methods
